In celebration of what would have been the late rapper Tupac Shakur’s 50th birthday, "Red Table Talk" host Jada Pinkett-Smith shared one of Tupac’s never seen before poems, via Instagram, for fans across the globe.
“Tupac Amaru Shakur would have been 50 midnight tonight! As we prepare to celebrate his legacy... let’s remember him for that which we loved most... his way with words.” she captioned the post.
Pinkett-Smith and Shakur had a longstanding friendship dating back to when they both attended the Baltimore School for the arts.
In her video tribute she stated, “I don’t think this one has ever been published, honestly. I don’t think he would have minded that I shared this with you guys."
Tupac Shakur was gunned down and killed on the Las Vegas strip after being in an altercation involving notorious Compton crip Orlando Anderson at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino after a Mike Tyson fight.
