The legal team of Tessica Brown, better known as Gorilla Glue Girl, has sent a cease and desist letter to TikTok creator Cocoa Brown for using her voice without permission. Cocoa's viral hit "Bad Idea" samples Tessica's voice from her infamous Gorilla Glue mishap that captivated the nation earlier in the year.
According to the legal team, they have sent multiple cease and desist letters to Cocoa, streaming services, and several social media platforms to have the song removed. They claim that Cocoa is profiting from the use of the voice sample and is not compensating Tessica.
Yessica Brown went viral in February after posting videos of the aftermath of using Gorilla Glue adhesive on her hair.
