National R & B Hall of Fame Noms.

National R & B Hall of Fame Noms.

On the heels of this year ‘Rock N Roll Hall of Fame’ induction of Jay-Z, LL Cool J, & Tina Turner. Looks as if theirs is a R & B Hall of Fame. The news broke on Twitter with a story from ‘That Grape Juice.net’ that Janet Jackson, Anita Baker, Mary J. Blige, & Toni Braxton leads the 2022 R&B Hall of Fame Nominees. Which of course brought questions of Where did this come from?? Well The R&B Hall of Fame Started in 2013. They have already inducted a few legends such as Aaliyah (13’), Aretha Franklin (19’), Stevie Wonder (19’), Natalie Cole (21’), Donna Summer (21’) and Luther Vandross (21’).

For The 2022 Class looks to be  building up, along with these other Nominees.  New Edition, Bell Biv DeVoe, Berry Gordy, En Vogue, TLC, Sade, The Isley Brothers, Jackson 5, Patti Labelle, and Jodeci. The 2022 Class of Inductees will be the 11th Class.

Hopefully the R&B Hall of Fame will reach the level as the other Highly ranked Rock N Roll Hall of Fame.
