According to Diddy’s former publicist, Rob Shuter, host of the podcast, “Naughty But Nice With Rob”, disgraced journalist Martin Bashir had his crosshairs on Diddy after his projects with the late Princess Diana in 1995, and the late Michael Jackson in 2003.
“I had an encounter with Martin Bashir that I’ve never talked about. So after Martin did his Princess Diana interview, his next bombshell was Michael Jackson. He did the huge Michael Jackson interview and within months, Martin called me himself to meet me to do Diddy. He wanted Diddy, Puff Daddy, to be the next one in the trilogy.” However, Puff quickly shot him down according to Shuter. “So, I spoke to Puff and was like, ‘Martin Bashir wants to do you next after Miachael Jackson.’ Puff was like, Hell no! I’m not sitting down with him.”
Bashir recently resigned from his role at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) just prior to the release of an independent investigation that revealed the journalist forged documents to suggest that Palace staff were being paid to spy on the princess, so that he would be granted access to speak with Princess Diana.
